About PDA lessons and test Package

PDA lessons and test package cannot be booked directly online using my online booking system. (Me taking you for a test)

If you have booked a PDA via DOT, you’ll need to contact me directly as soon as possible so we can organise the lesson and test package properly around your time and date.

Note: Do not book a test within the next 3 days and expect me to be available. If I am un-available and you cancel your booking you will have to re-pay DOT for another PDA. Best to book a week or 2 in advance and then check to see if I can take you. if i'm already taking someone else for a test then this gives you a chance to reschedule or cancel you test without having to purchase another PDA.

DOT states: You need to give more than 2 full business days’ notice to cancel or change your practical driving assessment, otherwise you will be charged for your original booking.

How to Book Your PDA

If you hold a learner’s permit in Western Australia, you must have a DoTDirect account to book your own Practical Driving Assessment (PDA) with the Department of Transport.

If you are upgrading from auto to manual you will need to contact DOT and pay for a PDA assessment to be able to book or change booking online.

You can book your Practical Driving Assessment online directly through the WA Department of Transport website:

Alternatively the test can be booked in person at a department of transport centre or via phone by calling 13 11 56

A test can also be be booked by a driving instructor if they agree to look for one for you.

Important PDA Booking Information

Practical Driving Assessments cannot be booked more than 6 months in advance
New PDA test times are released daily
Availability may change as other applicants cancel or reschedule

Once you have booked a PDA contact me ASAP to arrange use of car for a test and lesson package. PDA's lesson and test cannot be booked using the online booking system.

Car use is only available to students that I have given a lessons to.
