How to get your licence

The Department of Transport website outlines the process required to obtain your WA Drivers licence.

Theory test questions

It's recommended to learn the road rules and test your knowledge of them before driving a car.

Below is a link to practice the theory test questions. Aim for 100% correct answers.

Day of the test (very important)

Make sure you have completed and passed your hazard perception test prior to test day.

If you are using the log and learn app, make sure to submit the completed data to DOT at least 24 hours before your PDA.

If you are using the log book - Make sure your night time supervisor and yourself have signed and completed the totals and   declaration section located in the rear of your log book or you will not be able to sit the test.

Make sure you have your learners permit with you.

Visual aids if required, e.g. glasses or contact lens.

Failing to complete these requirements means you will not be able to sit your PDA.
